Maggie & Scott | Lavish Wedding Reception at The Kogod Courtyard at The National Portrait Gallery

Maggie and Scott celebrated their marriage with a lavish wedding reception in The Kogod Courtyard at The National Portrait Gallery: one of the first couples to host their wedding at this iconic, classic Washington DC location. A Griffin Events took the lead on planning and design and did not dissapoint. The couple wanted big, bold bursts of color and their design team delivered with bright, velvet lounge furniture, wild and fun floral centerpieces from Wander and Whimsy, giant disco balls, funky design pieces like the bright blue flamingo glass table from Something Vintage and uplighting of pinks, purples, and magentas! A large wooden bar adorned with colorful accents like custom napkins and candles was the focal piece of the Kogod Courtyard cocktail reception with a large dance floor at it’s side. The couple hired an incredible 10 piece band with a custom arched backdrop uplit with purples, yellows and greens.
